Ex-Homosexual T-Shirt

PC4M, a religous activism website, is selling a series of t-shirts aimed at admitting past sins, and thereby denouncing them.  There are many flavors to choose from, including EX-Atheist, EX-Fornicator, EX-Masturbator, EX-Diva, and strangely enough, EX-Hypocrite. My question is, if you do manage to kick something you consider a bad habit, would you advertise the fact to everyone around you?  More importnantly, is there anyone here who thinks they can lay claim to each and every sin on PC4M’s 9-point system? [Via College OTR]

Which of PC4M sins are you guilty of? (You can select as many answers as necessary.)

The idea behind the shirt is that God can deliver anyone from sins and the shirt is a proclamation of the life the wearer once led but that Jesus’ grace has delivered him/her from it. It’s also about the principle of transparency, the fact that the person wearing the shirt is saying, “I used to be like this; I make mistakes; you’re not alone in what you’re going through. God will forgive.” It’s essentially a bold testimony of the person’s life. That’s what it means according to the Christian faith. I hope that answers your question.

i believe that these shirts are kind of offensive because i believe there is nothing wrong with being gay!!! There is much more things that i feel are worse than being gay we cant help who we like and i feel as if they appreciate more this whole “love thing” than a straight person.

I can’t believe that people, after so many years of education and society development, still think that homosexuality is a sin. If Jesus loved everyone equally, wouldn’t it make Him Pan sexual? Or would you rather start an argument which would lead to the conclusion that God himself is A-sexual, equal loving and caring, ‘non-judgmental’ and understanding? It’s because of people who think they know Him thorough fully that they can lecture and punish, without even trying to understand the current situation. The God I believe in, knows me, and everyone else individually. He knows that certain homosexuals won’t do anything to harm the environment and people around them. We love everything on earth, because we are human, too. We do what we can to make a better world. Isn’t it what humanity and ‘Christianity’ are about? God will certainly not keep Himself restrained by the Bible’s ‘teachings’. He has no boundaries. Don’t go around telling people what God likes and doesn’t like. It’s a sin to act as God himself, too.
